What you will learn

Module 1 — Interpreting IT Support Services Fundamentals

Core IT concepts, support roles and service standards.

Module 2 — Performing PC Assembling

Identifying components and assembling a working computer.

Module 3 — Installing and Using Operating System and Optimizing Utilities

OS installation, configuration and system optimisation.

Module 4 — Performing Basic Networking

IP basics, LAN setup, Wi-Fi and connectivity.

Module 5 — Installing and Configuring Application and Utility Software

Installing, configuring and updating applications and utilities.

Module 6 — Performing Basic Data Backup and Recovery

Backup strategies, restore procedures and data protection.

Module 7 — Maintaining and Troubleshooting Personal Computer

Diagnosing and fixing common hardware and software faults.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Class 8 / JSC (or as per NSDA standard)
  • Age 18 and above
  • Physically fit for practical training
  • NID / birth registration
